The Kindergarten program at Immanuel Christian School is a full-day program with the majority of the academic curriculum done in the morning and enrichment activities done in the afternoon. Our program is designed to give the foundational skills necessary for success in school. The goal of our Kindergarten program is to educate the whole child by providing the spiritual, mental, and social aspects for a well-rounded education.
The curriculum (A BEKA, ACSI) covers formative academic skills such as language arts, writing, phonics and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities. Students also participate in physical education, library time, computer lab time and music. In addition to the curriculum components, Kindergarten students participate in weekly chapel services that reinforce the Bible component taught that follows the beliefs and teachings of our Christian faith.
